This article presents success stories of patients who were cured of rare diseases that were once considered untreatable. We showcase the experiences of patients who underwent gene therapy or advanced surgeries, such as treatment for immune deficiency due to OX40 deficiency. Through these stories, we highlight the importance of scientific research in finding innovative solutions that can change the lives of patients, with a focus on the challenges they faced and how they overcame them.
